There’s a solid chance that you’ve never heard of this app. Assuming you haven’t then there’s a good chance that you’re asking yourself, “What Is Wamba?” If you are, then you’re not alone. Many people out there haven’t got the slightest idea as to what Wamba is. If I were asked to describe it I’d say it’s social dating within a “freemium” network setting. Some people think it’s the most popular social network out there, but those same people likely don’t use Facebook or Instagram.
I’ll break things down for you here. The Wamba dating app helps connect you with people looking to date. There are millions of members in more than a dozen countries around the world. However, just because a site is huge doesn’t mean it works great. Let me share what I learned about this app and what you need to know.
In a nutshell, Wamba allows you to do a few things. It’s a simple social network that gives you the opportunity to play some games, send and receive images, chat, and match up with other users.
More Information On Wamba And Whether It Works Or Not
I like to dive into these companies and learn all about them. With a small amount of research, I was able to learn that a man by the name of Iaroslav Sergeev runs Wamba as an executive of the company. He claims that this app works to help busy people best match with potential dates.
Do I agree with his statement?
Unfortunately, no I do not. While Wamba might work to connect people, it’s certainly not doing it on the premise of making it easier to date or hook up with people.
However, I give credit where credit is due and based on my research, I learned the following facts about Wamba. You might want to learn about these things as they may help you make a decision to try it out.
If you do your research, you’ll likely come across a few articles which state that Wamba was the first to….
- Incorporate multiple payment methods for users to upgrade
- Make profiles more visible through boosted search features
- Create the “Who checked my profile?” technology
- Create a customer support line for online dating
- Invented the “Connect 24/7” service, a simple service that allows you to meet people without having to log in or reveal their mobile phone number
Honestly, I find it very hard to believe that they did all this before anyone else. I’m not knocking them or bashing them for anything but I just don’t believe that they were the first to come up with the idea of who’s viewed you and a customer support line. I mean really, does it matter who created any of this stuff? Who gives a hoot about any of that.
The only thing that matters is whether or not people use it and if it works, that’s it.
Now, what I can tell you is that I personally took a closer look at Wamba and even downloaded the app to use on my iPhone. In doing so, I learned that the app offers a premium service just like any other. This one utilizes what’s known as a “VIP-status” which gives users the ability to be seen more. If you’re looking to upgrade it’s going to cost you between $2.99 and $11.99 depending on the type of upgrade that you’re looking to get.
One thing I don’t like about this app is that they send third-party offers to users via email. I can’t stand buying something and then having them send me more offers to squeeze more money out of me. Ain’t nobody got time for that!
What’s The Bottom Line?
The bottom line here is simple. My advice would be to not use the Wamba dating app. Sure, the social network is large but I’ve used apps that have far fewer people and have had way more success. Do yourself a solid and stay away from this one. It’s too cheap and you’re actually better off spending some more money on a smaller network with higher quality members versus the large network like this with lots of “tire kickers.” My advice would be to download this instead and you’ll have far better luck hooking up with someone!
If you’re wondering, I did not meet anyone locally using this app. I did not have sex with anyone from Wamba.com and I did not play any games with people. It was simply a fail on my part, sorry but that’s the truth!
